He has worked as our bookkeeper for the last 4 years and not only tracked our finances, managed all our payables and receivables, made all the entries for transactions, and provided timely reports…. He has also helped our company grow and be successful.
That last item is perhaps most important. His work has been the bedrock our business has grown on and his advice and organization skills have helped us to grow steadily over the period of his consultancy. My partner and I are new to business management and Albert has educated and guided us. He helped us understand the importance of Quickbooks financial reports as the basis for vital business decisions. When the business grew too big to manage without help, we decided to purchase software to help us cope with complicated schedules, larger scale projects, and managing a growing staff. Albert helped us set up, organize, and train for use of the Buildertrend Project management software in all aspects of our Design-Build Remodeling business. He also set up all the links between Buildertrend and Quickbooks, to sync the software and reduce duplicate data entry.
Albert’s friendly manner and unassuming character are equally important. Even though he only works with us part-time, we are always glad to see him. He feels like a member of our team and has good relations with all the office staff. He greets everyone when arriving or leaving, and always has a good word for all.
Flexibility is important for consultants with a small company like ours. Albert has been very understanding about working extra hours when needed or coming in on alternate days when the schedule has to be shifted.
To top it off, he has given us some key referrals to individuals and other businesses that have become important lead sources and business associates. He is looking out for us, and providing assistance far beyond what would be expected of him.
